According to the figures, published on the company’s website, the network owned by Russian Railways loaded 410,4 mln t. of freight in January – April 2017 which is 3,8% more than in the same period last year.
In Jan-Apr’17, Russian Railways loaded the following freight:
119,9 mln t of coal (+9,2%, y-o-y);
3,7 mln t of coke (+3,5%);
80,5 mln t of crude and oil products (+1%);
35,6 mln t of iron and manganese ores (-0,6%);
23,9 mln t of ferrous metal (+0,1%);
4,1 mln t of ferrous metal scrap (+11,9%);
19 mln t of chemical and mineral fertilisers (+5,7%);
6,9 mln t of cement (-1,4%);
15 mln t of timber (+3,7%);
6,7 mln t of grain (+1,8%);
40 mln t of construction materials (-3,7%);
6,7 mln t of non-ferrous ores and sulphur feedstock (-0,5%);
8,9 mln t of chemicals and soda (+2,7%);
11 mln t of industrial raw materials and molding materials (+14,1%).
