In QI’2016, Russian seaports handled 167.3 mln t (+4.6%, year-on-year), says the press center of Association of Commercial Sea Ports.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 73.2 mln t (+10.6%) including 29.2 mln t of coal (+10.5%), 10.0 mln t of containerized cargo (+2.3%), 7.2 mln t of grain (+40.0%), 7.0 mln t of ferrous metal (+1.5%), 4.6 mln t of cargo carried by ferries (+17.7%), 3.9 mln t of mineral fertilizers (+6.1%), 1.9 mln t of ore (up 1.9 times), 1.3 mln t of timber (+6.3%), 1.0 mln t of non-ferrous metal (+3.7%) and 0.7 mln t of refer cargo (+3.2%). Transshipment of metal scrap declined to 0.8 mln t (-17.7%).
Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo totaled 94.0 mln t (+0.4%) including 55.7 mln t of crude oil (+7.9%), 34.1mln t of oil products (-9.5%) and 3.3 mln t of liquefied gas (-3.8%).
Transshipment of export cargo totaled135.7 mln t (+4.0%), import cargo – 7.2 mln t (-5.0%), transit cargo– 12.8 mln t (+7.7%), coastal trade cargo – 11.6 mln t (+17.4%).
Operators of the Arctic Basin terminals handled10.0 mln t (+18.3%, year-on-year) including 6.0 mln t of dry cargo (+6.9%) and 4.0 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+41.2%). The port of Murmansk handled 6.6 mln t (+24.7%), Varandei – 1.9 mln t (+21.6%).
The ports of the Baltic Basin handled 56.9 mln t (+0.6%) including 36.6 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+1.3%) and 20.3 mln t of dry cargo (-0.7%). The port of Ust-Luga handled 22.3 mln t (+4.1%), Primorsk – 15.5 mln t (+5.6%), Big Port St. Petersburg – 11.9 mln t (-8.2%), Vysotsk – 3.9 mln t (-3.0%), Kaliningrad – 3.1 mln t (-4.3%).
Throughput of Azov – Black Sea ports climbed to 55.4 mln t (+3.3%) including 21.4 mln t of dry cargo (+18.8%) and 34.0 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-4.6%). The port of Novorossiysk handled 34.5 mln t (+4.3%), Taman- 3.0 mln t (+0.6%), Rostov-on-Don – 2.3 mln t (+26.3%), Kerch – 1.6 mln t (+28.8%), Azov – 1.4 mln t (+36.6%), Yeisk – 0.9 mln t (+14.2%), Tuapse – 6.0 mln t (-8.0%), Kavkaz – 4.1 mln t (-6.4%).
The ports of the Caspian Basin handled 1.8 mln t (-5.0%) including 0.8 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-10.8%) and 0.9 mln t of dry cargo (+1.1%). The port of Astrakhan handled 0.8 mln t (10.2%), Makhachkala – 1.0 mln t (-11.4%). Throughput of port Olya fell 1.8 times.
The ports of Far EastBasin handled 43.1 mln t (+9.8%) including 24.5 mln t of dry cargo (+15.9%) and 18.6 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+2.7%). Port Vostochny handled 16.0 mln t (+4.3%), Vanino – 7.1 mln t (+19.3%), Nakhodka – 5.8 mln t (+18.1%), Vladivostok – 3.2 mln t (+6.5%), De-Castri – 3.1 mln t (+22.0%), Posiet –2.1 mln t, Prigorodnoye – 4.0 mln t (-5.1%).
