Ust-Luga PortContainer block train “Ust-Luga Express” plying the route “Ust-Luga port – Moscow – Ust-Luga” began its work after the Christmas holidays. The first in 2015 container block train “Ust-Luga Express” went from the terminal ULCT (Ust-Luga port) to the station Moskva-Tovarnaya (Moscow) January 18, 2015.
The next train from Ust-Luga port on the Moskva-Tovarnaya depart on schedule on 25 January.
Ust-Luga port – Commercial Sea Port (ICC) in the north-western Russia, Leningrad region, Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland near the village of Ust-Luga.
Modern and intensively developing Ust-Luga port, deep and ice-free refers to Kingiseppsky Customs (Ust-Luga customs post) and is located 150 km from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Not so well known as the Port of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga port between a relatively short period of time achieved great handling volumes, competing with the port of St. Petersburg: so in 2013 the volume of its handling of 63 million tons, up 5 million tonnes higher than transshipment of big Port of St. Petersburg.
On 12/01/14 turnover of the port of Ust-Luga was 69.5 million. Tons, showing an increase from 20.8% 01.01.14.
