Freight turnover in Russia amounted 1.266 trillion ton/km in January-March 2016, which is 1.4% more than the same period last year.
In particular the railway transport in the reporting period amounted 566.1 billion ton/km (+0.5%), automobile transport – 48.6 billion ton/km (-2.3%), pipeline transport – 631.3 billion ton/km (+1.7%), maritime transport – 12.5 billion ton/km (+75.3%), inland water transport – 6.6 billion ton/km (+4.1%), air transport – 0.4 billion ton/km (9%).
In March 2016, annualized turnover of transport of Russia fell to 432.2 billion ton/km (-0.3%).
