Total container turnover in Russian seaports in 7 month of 2016 decreased by 1.2% year-on-year to 2.27 million TEU.
Export containers amounted to 949,1 thou TEU, including loaded export 616,2 thou TEU (+12,5%), empty – 332,9 thou TEU (-22,7%);
import — 961,2 thou TEU (+1,1%);
transit — 25,6 thou TEU (-46,8%);
cabotage — 338,2 thousand TEU (+4,5 %).
The container throughput in the ports in the Baltic basin in reporting period increased by 2,9% to 1,17 mln TEU, including loaded export – 401,8 thou TEU (-9,8%), empty – 169 thou TEU (-17,1%), import – 600 thou TEU (+5,6%), cabotage – 60 TEU. The container turnover in Big Port St. Petersburg amounted to 1,02 mln TEU (+2,4%), port of Ust-Luga – 45,1 thou TEU (-6,9%), Kaliningrad – 102,5 thou TEU (+14%).
The container throughput of the Arctic Basin terminals amounted to 76,5 mln TEU (+3,5% year-on-year) including loaded export – 373 TEU (-79,4%), empty – 1,3 thou TEU (up in 7 times), import – 2,4 thou TEU (+21,3%), cabotage – 72,4 thou TEU. The container turnover in port of Murmansk amounted to 24,3 thou TEU (+8,4%), in Dudinka port – 29,8 thou TEU (-6,8%), port Arkhangelsk – 20,4 thou TEU (+21,5%).
The container throughput of Azov – Black Sea ports climbed to 384,2 thou TEU (+2,2%), including loaded export – 110,1 thou TEU (+35,5%), empty – 81,98 thou TEU (-22,1%), import – 184,6 thou TEU (+1,6%), transit – 166 TEU (-29,7%), cabotage – 7,3 thou TEU (-4,7%). The container turnover in port of Novorossiysk amounted to 375,7 thou TEU (+3,3%), Azov – 3,5 thou TEU (-12,7%), Sevastopol – 3,8 thou TEU (-5,8%).
The container throughput of Far East Basin ports decreased by 9,9% to 641,3 thou TEU, including loaded export – 103,5 thou TEU (+5,1%), empty – 80,4 thou TEU (-33,6%), import – 173,7 thou TEU (-12,6%), transit – 25,4 thou TEU (-46,9%), cabotage – 258,3 thou TEU (+5,1%). The container turnover in port of Vladivostok amounted to 334 thou TEU (-7%), Port Vostochny – 168,7 thou TEU (-23,3%), Korsakov – 62,4 thou TEU (+36,2%).
The container throughput of the Caspian Basin ports decreased by 31,6% to 1,3 thou TEU, including loaded export – 351 TEU (-2%), empty – 194 TEU (-44,1%), import – 491 TEU (-24,8%), cabotage – 190 TEU (-56,2%). The container turnover in port of Astrakhan amounted to 1.2 thou TEU (-20,3%), Olya – 3 TEU (-98%), port of Makhachkala – 14 TEU (-88,6%).
