Container train “Ust-Luga Express”: from Ust-Luga port to the terminal “Vorsino”!
November 29, 2014 changed the Saturday arrival railway terminal “Ust-Luga Express” – a weekly accelerated container train plying on the route “Ust-Luga port – Moscow – Ust-Luga” twice a week.
With the assistance of the Russian Railways in collaboration “Freight Village Ru”, the company “TASKOM”, railway operator “Sungate” and forwarding company “Navigator Logistic” container train “Ust-Luga Express” is running on the new terminal “Freight Village Vorsino” (intermodal terminal “Vorsino”).
Regular Saturday train “Ust-Luga Express”, who went before the railway terminal “Hovrino” is now sent from the port of Ust-Luga terminal “Freight Village Vorsino” weekly on Saturdays.
Modern multi-modal logistics center “Freight Village Vorsino” is located in 67 km from Moscow and 20 km from the borders of New Moscow, occupying 500 hectares of the industrial park “Vorsino.”
The complex has a customs post, referring to the Kaluga customs, temporary storage, rail terminal in the area of 15 hectares for all types of cargo, container terminal area of 26 hectares, warehouse class A terminal for heavy trucks.
Terminal and logistics center “Freight Village Vorsino” a unique project for Russia, which is an implementation of the European model of Freight Village – «cargo village.”
Industrial Park “Vorsino” in whose territory “Freight Village Vorsino” – a modern industrial center (industrial park), created in 2008. This is a joint project of the Government of the Kaluga region in the face of the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Kaluga Region Development Corporation.
Residents of the industrial park are among other large industrial companies such as “Samsung”, “Nestle Russia”, “L’Oreal”, “Linde Gas Rus”.
