Cargo turnover of Baltic ports the past ten months of 2014 has grown by 2.5 per cent compared to the same figure for the January-October 2013th, thereby reaching a value of 133.49 million tonnes in.
In the reporting period, 46.2 per cent of all cargo handled at the ports of Latvia, 27 percent – in Lithuania and, accordingly, the remaining 26.8 percent – in the ports of Estonia.
In Latvia in January-October Tekushev year turnover increased by 4.8 percent – to the level of 61.62 million tons in Lithuania – 1.1 percent – to a value of 36.03 million tons, while in Estonia, in contrast, decreased 0.1 percent to 35.83 million tons.
