According to Moskvichev, the amended Law is just about to appear. The new version is to ban road transportation of loose cargo exceeding 40 t. Large volumes can be transported only by heavy-weight trucks the share of which is only 2%.
The bill provides for fines of up to RUB 1 mln.
The speaker explained that the law would redirect the flow of loose cargo to railway, marine and river transport which is to have a positive impact on the state of highways.
